Convert CSV to Excel

No more columns crammed into one cell, no é instead of é: Rekenblad reads your CSV the way it was meant and turns it into a real Excel file.

Your data stays on your device

How it works

CSV to Excel in three steps

  1. Choose or paste your CSV

Drop the file on the page, or paste the table.

  2. Check the preview

Rekenblad finds the delimiter, character set and decimal comma by itself; adjust anything that isn’t right.

  3. Download as .xlsx

Numbers are numbers, dates are dates, leading zeros stay put.

Questions

Good to know

  • Why is my CSV in one column in Excel?

Excel in Belgium expects a semicolon between the columns. If your file comes from another country, it has commas. Rekenblad recognises both and puts everything in the right column.

  • Are leading zeros kept?

Yes. A mobile number like 0475, a postcode like 0100 or an account number stays text, so nothing gets lost.

  • Does my file go to a server?

No. Rekenblad reads and writes the file in your own browser.
