No. The code itself contains your web address or text, without a redirect through a service. It works as long as what’s in it works, without a subscription.
Which error correction should I choose?
M is fine for most uses. Choose Q or H if the code may get dirty or damaged, for example outdoors. The higher, the bigger and denser the code.
Does my data go to a server?
No. The code is made in your own browser, and your Wi-Fi password stays here too.
