Tables

Convert JSON to CSV and back

Make an export from a web service readable in Excel, or a table into JSON for a website: Rekenblad converts it, in both directions.

Your data stays on your device

How it works

JSON to CSV in three steps

  1. Choose the direction

From JSON to a table, or from a table to JSON.

  2. Paste or open your data

Rekenblad shows the result straight away.

  3. Download or copy

As CSV, as an Excel file or as JSON.

Questions

Good to know

  • What happens to nested fields?

A field inside a field becomes a column with a dot in its name, such as address.city. A list is numbered: phone.0, phone.1. From CSV to JSON, Rekenblad builds that nesting back up.

  • My JSON has a different shape. Will it work?

Rekenblad accepts a list of records, a single record, or an object with one list inside, as many exports do. A single value can’t become a table.

  • Does my data go to a server?

No. Everything is converted in your own browser.
